The features i am trying to erase are internally created cosmetic threads using the hole feature. Cosmetic threads are automatically brought into a drawing, They show up as a circle made from a dashed line, just make sure that you've turned on the option to apply a cosmetic thread if you are using the Hole Wizard feature. i can control my design very easily thru' Pro/Program once i m done with the design. I researched the topic here and found this comment: "Starting with SW2005, cosmetic threads have to be inserted into drawings of assemblies". I tried with Annotatiosns-Details, but that seems to work only for my parts, and they keep being visible in my assembly. On the Document Properties tab, select Detailing. Hi ProE_Addict, thanks for the reply n info u had provided. If I drop one of those parts or assemblies into a default drawing template.we do get cosmetic threads. The threads show up fine in the dwg, but I cannot see them in modeling mode. Hole Wizard is a tool inside SOLIDWORKS that allows you to quickly create holes within a part or assembly without the need of drawing or using multiple features.
